The PRIVATE SECURITY LAW 23/1992, of July 30, states in its article 19: section C:

Private detectives at the request of natural or legal persons, is responsible for: monitoring at fairs, hotels, exhibitions and similar areas. Therefore, the functions of private detectives are monitoring its own unique non uniformed in the following areas:

• Hotels
• Department stores
• Commercial Areas
• Fairs
• Exhibitions
• Conferences
• Sporting Events
• Cultural events

SCORPIO DETECTIVES is a private research agency, which has qualified non-uniformed surveillance equipment, made up of competent qualified professionals in private investigation and legally authorized by the Ministry of the Interior, as a private detective for the development of their functions.
